ERGO-FIT is an interface system designed to allow riders to find their ideal riding position. Various points of the chassis interface (the handlebar, footpegs and seat, etc.) can be adjusted through a combination of interchangeable parts and parts with adjustable positions. This enables a wide range of riders to find a riding position that offers both comfort and control. Feeling at one with their machine, they will be able to experience how Kawasaki machines are fun and rewarding to ride. *Adjustable parts and their range of adjustability vary by model. positions. HYDRAULIC CLUTCH
Like the KX250, a hydraulic clutch offers more direct feel and lighter lever action. Less play as the clutch heats up during heavy use results in more consistent feeling. The use of coned-disc springs contributes to lighter clutch actuation when the lever has been pulled in, and a wider clutch engagement range, which facilitates control (especially when half-clutching). |
SETTING-ADJUSTABLE ECU
Lightweight and designed for the rigours of off-road riding, the ECU contains multiple programmable engine maps to offer riders an advantage on the racecourse. Using the provided DFI couplers, riders are able to easily switch from one to another of the three engine maps to suit riding conditions. The plug-and-play style system is quick, easy and stress-free. Each of the three maps can be reprogrammed using the optional KX FI Calibration Kit. |
